"Winning in China—Business Chinese" is a textbook series specifically designed for participants in the EU-China Managers Exchange and Training Programme and other students new to business Chinese. The series consists of three levels, with the Basic level comprising three textbooks supplemented by two independent sections: Pronunciation and Chinese Characters for use in the initial phase. All texts are written in business Chinese and focus on relevant topics and situations. The exercises are varied, with the task-based exercises being particularly authentic, interesting, and practical. The books are printed in two colors and are accompanied by audio CDs.
Basic 3 contains five sections: "going to the doctor," "renting an apartment," "at the bank," "online shopping," and "in the hotel." After completing this section, students will be able to conduct business in simple Chinese.
