About the author
James Manwell is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts and director of the Wind Energy Center. He has extensive experience in research on wind energy, including offshore wind turbines and hybrid systems. His work is internationally recognized and he lives in Conway, Massachusetts.
