About the author
Lou van der Sluis is affiliated with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science at Delft University of Technology. He teaches power systems analysis and mentors professionals from the electrical industry. Author of Transients in Power Systems, awarded with an IEEE Prize Paper Award. He is a senior member of IEEE and convener of CC-03 of Cigre. His research focuses on the analysis of transient recovery voltages in medium- and high-voltage networks.
