Summary
Upon arriving at Butternut Creek Christian Church, the new pastor is welcomed by a committee led by Miss Birdie and her friend Mercedes, known as 'the Widows'. Their first task is to show him around, which quickly turns into an attempt to find a wife for him.
Story
When their attempts fail, the Widows turn their attention to Sam, a disabled Afghanistan veteran who prefers to be left alone. The committee sees this as a challenge and tries to match him with Willow, his charming physical therapist and single mother who struggles with attachment.
