About the author
Jeanne Ballantine is emerita professor of sociology at Wright State University. She has extensive experience in higher education and various international programs. In addition to this book, she also wrote, among other things Our Social World: An Introduction to Sociology (SAGE 2019). Her contributions to the field have been recognized by the American Sociological Association and the North Central Sociological Association.
