About the author
Beat Kumin is Professor of Early Modern European History at the University of Warwick. His publications include, among other things Drinking Matters (2007) and Imperial Villages (2019). In addition, he co-edited with C. Scott Dixon the reference work Interpreting Early Modern Europe (2019), which addresses historiographical debates in this period.
