This exciting paperback tells the story of Nico di Angelo and Will Solace, two demigods who return from the Underworld. They don’t receive any new missions until Nico’s half-sister Hazel asks them to help at Camp Jupiter. There they find that she provides a hiding place for the monsters that have escaped from the Underworld.
The book explores how these monsters don’t necessarily have to be evil and that they have choices. When the monsters suddenly disappear and a dark power becomes active, Nico, Will, and Hazel discover that they themselves are connected to this threat.
