Malcolm Godden is the Rawlinson and Bosworth Professor of Anglo-Saxon at the University of Oxford. Michael Lapidge is Elrington and Bosworth Professor Emeritus of Anglo-Saxon at the University of Cambridge and Notre Dame Professor of English Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame.
