Introduction of Language Law
TaalRecht is a communicative-visual teaching method focused on language acts, introduced in the 2017-2018 school year. This method is a follow-up to Spreekwijs and forms the ideal foundation for TaalRecht 2. Both methods – TaalRecht 1 and 2 – share strong similarities. In this updated version for target level 1, additional components have been added that provide even more support.
Structure and Content
The method consists of 10 chapters. Each chapter begins with a soap opera about Hassan, a newcomer from Iraq, who humorously shares his experiences in Belgium. Focus areas include his Dutch lessons, his job search, and his personal life. This setting offers students a relatable and engaging framework for learning Dutch as a Second Language (NT2).
Core benefits
The method supports the gradual development of competencies with the goal of successfully completing each language task. There's a strong focus on differentiation and self-reliance, with concrete resources for continuing to work on Dutch at home. TaalRecht also includes specially composed Dutch music by Lennaert & De Bonski's, which enriches the learning process.
Intertaal is the reliable supplier of TaalRecht and guarantees fast delivery. This series is suitable for education at the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as for work-related and self-study purposes.
