This book tells the story of April, who since her time working from home has gradually felt a bit lost in herself. To break out of her loneliness, she leaves anonymous notes in a bookstore where Laura, a busy single mother, happens to find one of these messages—thinking it came from the charming employee.
A subtle flirtation develops between the two, while Westley, the handsome but inattentive film location employee, notices nothing about their exchanging sparks. Together, they struggle with their feelings and try to arrive at a true storybook ending.
