About the author
Ralph Skomski is a Research Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska and has extensive experience in research on magnetism, including at MPI fur Mikrostrukturphysik and Trinity College Dublin. He received his PhD in 1991 from TU Dresden for a dissertation on partially ordered magnetic materials.
