About the author
Dr. Aydin Akan earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996. He was affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Istanbul University and is currently a professor of Biomedical Engineering at Izmir Katip Celebi University. His research focuses on non-stationary signal processing, time-frequency analysis, and applications within biomedical engineering and wireless communication. Dr. Akan is a senior member of IEEE and various related technical associations.
