Rethinking Political Thinkers Manjeet Ramgotra is a study book that critically reconsiders political thinkers and presents political thought in a new, innovative way. The work is intended for students and academics who want to explore political theories and arguments from diverse perspectives.
Contents
This book combines traditional political thinkers such as Plato, Machiavelli and Locke with often marginalized voices of women and thinkers of color, including hooks, Du Bois and Fanon. Through these dialogues, it opens up new insights into political thought on patriarchy, white supremacy and imperialism. The thematic structure covers topics such as social contract theory, freedom, revolution and environmental issues, encouraging students to critically connect ideas with their own experiences.
With a focus on decolonizing the curriculum offers Rethinking Political Thinkers a broad and inclusive perspective on political theory, supported by online resources that provide depth and context.
