About the author
Richard Feynman (1918-88) won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965 for his contributions to quantum electrodynamics. He was an influential scientist involved in the development of the atomic bomb and research into the Challenger disaster. Albert R. Hibbs, one of his PhD students, transcribed and edited Feynman's lectures. Daniel F. Styer is a professor of physics and also worked on spreading Feynman's work.
