The PRISMA collection is a structured Spanish learning method, divided into six levels. Its primary goal is to equip students with the necessary strategies and knowledge to function effectively in a Spanish-speaking environment, demonstrating their language proficiency at the appropriate level.

This textbook consists of twelve chapters, supplemented by two review chapters, and provides approximately 80 hours of instruction. Each teaching unit is self-contained but also covers grammatical, lexical, and functional content from previous units (feedback mechanism). Activities are labeled with icons indicating the skill being practiced (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and the recommended class structure (individual, pairs, small groups, whole class). An icon is also displayed when additional explanation by the teacher is required, which is always included in the teacher's guide, or when a game is being used.
