About the author

Dirk Schoenmaker is Professor of Banking and Finance at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Among other roles, he is academic director of the Erasmus Platform for Sustainable Value Creation and is affiliated with Bruegel and CEPR. He previously published on governance and markets in international banking. Co-author Willem Schramade is a specialist in impact investing and a guest lecturer at the same university.
