The Oxford Classical Texts, also known as Scriptorum Classicorum Bibliotheca Oxoniensis, form an authoritative collection of classical Greek and Latin literature. The series contains carefully compiled texts without extensive commentaries, with a concise apparatus criticus at the beginning of each page.
This series aims to include the work of all major classical authors. While most is already available, new volumes continue to appear to fill remaining gaps. In addition, older editions are revised and updated in line with the latest scholarly insights, ensuring that reliability and relevance are maintained.
