Climb up: Basic method Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) for adults
Klim Op is a carefully developed teaching method that guides adults in learning Dutch as a second language. This method focuses primarily on practical applications and is particularly suitable for those working (or aspiring to work) in a practical profession, as well as NT2 learners at the vocational level (MBO) who need additional review. The final level that can be achieved with this course is A1, which is an important first step toward successfully passing the integration exam.
The course is structured around ten themes, in which students learn basic vocabulary and various practical language skills in a targeted manner, all within familiar, everyday situations. The exercises within the learning method are organized by specific skills such as listening, reading, writing, speaking, and grammar. The variety of exercises ensures effective vocabulary acquisition.
Each topic concludes with exercises such as a dictation, a pronunciation exercise, and the use of flashcards, further reinforcing the material learned.
