About the author
Manuel Diaz-Campos is Associate Professor of Hispanic Studies at Indiana University. His research focuses on sociolinguistics, phonological and morphosyntactic variation, language acquisition, and phonology of Spanish as a second language. He is also an editor of The Handbook of Hispanic Sociolinguistics (Wiley-Blackwell, 2011).
