With writing tips from her famous next-door neighbor, Lidwien, and help in the garden, Katinka learns to formulate her thoughts better and to describe her life. The story combines writing and personal development, while a special friendship grows.
Annet Huizing’s debut won a Silver Slate (Zilveren Griffel), a Slovenian Golden Pear (Sloveense Gouden Peer), an Italian nomination for the Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi, and appeared on the Deutschlandfunk best-seller list. This book, in which Katinka accidentally writes a book, is also being adapted into a film.
