With "Con Un giorno in Italia 2," students can continue their journey to further discover Italy, its places, and its culture. The new narrative path builds on what was offered in "Un giorno in Italia 1" and aims to bring students closer to a wide range of cultural knowledge, ranging from literature to art, and from contemporary journalism to opinion pieces. Through linguistic input that integrates narrative elements with authentic documents, students will be confronted with increasing language complexity, both lexically and morphosyntactically. The textbook is designed for intermediate-level students and enables them to reach an advanced level of proficiency. Students will learn to describe, narrate, and, above all, argue. They will learn to formulate hypotheses, express opinions, and use appropriate registers and styles for different contexts. The activities in each section aim to enhance and perfect communicative interaction skills, promoting the use of the Italian language in personal and family settings, as well as professional and public spaces. The student will be guided to see language as an instrument of action in the social landscape and as a means to broaden their cultural horizons.
