About the author

VLADIMIR S. BAGOTSKY is a retired professor at the Frumkin Institute of Electrochemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has extensive experience with theoretical and applied electrochemistry and was involved in the development of batteries for Russian rockets and spacecraft. He is the author of hundreds of scientific publications and various monographs, including the pioneering Kinetics of Electrode Processes from 1952.
