Collins Explore English is a 6-level language method that fully aligns with the Cambridge Primary English as a Second Language curriculum framework (0057) from 2020. The method consists of a magazine-style Student’s Resource Book, a comprehensive Student’s Coursebook, and a supporting Teacher’s Guide with detailed lesson plans.
The Teacher’s Guide provides a clear and structured path through the learning process, with step-by-step guidance. Additional activities, differentiation, and extension tasks are integrated, making it possible to use the materials flexibly in class or in the timetable.
Each of the nine units per level is spread over three weeks, with four lessons per week and extra material for revision and extension. The lesson plans are carefully worked out to fully cover the curriculum framework. Lesson content is presented in context, so language development connects with learners’ interests and other subjects.
The method follows an integrated skills approach with an emphasis on practical communication. The Student’s Resource Book, Coursebook, and Teacher’s Guide components are closely interlinked with clear instructions. This learning resource is designed for interactive and flexible use, supported by comprehensive, detailed lesson plans in the Teacher’s Guide.
This series is officially approved by Cambridge Assessment International Education to support the 0057 (2020) curriculum framework.
