Collins Explore English is a six-part language method that fully aligns with the Cambridge Primary English as a Second Language curriculum framework (0057) from 2020. The method consists of a magazine-style Student’s Resource Book, a comprehensive Student’s Coursebook, and a supporting Teacher’s Guide.
The Teacher’s Guides include detailed lesson plans that provide teachers with practical step-by-step guidance when delivering the lessons. Additional activities, differentiation, and extensions are included per unit, so the lessons can be used flexibly.
Each level contains nine units, divided into three weeks with four lessons per week. The lesson materials are context-based and encourage the development of language skills within meaningful situations that are recognizable to learners. This means the method aligns well with the curriculum focus for a second language.
The integrated approach promotes practical communicative skills and provides clear links between the Student’s Resource Book, Coursebook, and Teacher’s Guide. The method supports the curriculum framework with a consistent structure and a focus on interactive and flexible lesson formats.
This series has been formally approved by Cambridge Assessment International Education and aligns seamlessly with the requirements of the second language curriculum framework 0057 from 2020.
