Collins Explore English is a language learning method that is fully aligned with the Cambridge Primary English curriculum (framework 0057, 2020). The method consists of a magazine-like Student’s Resource Book, an extensive Student’s Coursebook, and an extensive Teacher’s Guide. Together, these learning materials provide a clear and structured progression within and across the six levels.
The Student’s Resource Book stimulates language development with a colorful and engaging design, filled with a variety of fictional and non-fiction texts that fit international contexts. This learning tool contains no fill-in exercises, keeping the focus on reading and understanding. The exercises and writing tasks are found in the Student’s Coursebook, which thus, together with the Resource Book, forms a complete learning package.
The method uses an integrated skills approach with an emphasis on practical communication and interactive teaching materials. The Teacher’s Guide supports teachers with comprehensive lesson plans for smooth and flexible implementation. In addition, audio files are available free of charge as a download, to strengthen listening instruction.
