Karen A. Mingst is Professor Emerita at the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce at the University of Kentucky. She holds a PhD in political science and specializes in international organizations, international law, and international political economy. Through her research and teaching experience, she is a respected figure in international relations. Heather Elko McKibben is an associate professor at the University of California, Davis.
