The course is specifically designed to maximize the achievement of school-age students. The course material comprises eight units covering the core topics, vocabulary, grammar, and skills required for all four exam papers for the revised Cambridge English: First (FCE) for Schools exam from 2015. Each unit includes two topics inspired by teenagers, covering the full exam syllabus and also serving as a basis for CLIL-based extension activities and projects. Grammar sections and a Grammar Reference help students build the precise language structure needed for the "Use of English" section of the new "Reading and Use of English" paper. B2-level vocabulary is targeted, drawing on insights from the English Profile, and is compiled into a Word List based on key vocabulary from the units. "Exam Tips," and grammar and vocabulary exercises teach students to avoid common errors identified in Cambridge's unique collection of real exam papers, the Cambridge Learner Corpus.
