Xianhai Huang, PhD, is Principal Scientist at Merck Research Laboratories and co-inventor of more than forty patents. He has made important contributions to the synthesis of antitumor agents.

Robert G. Aslanian, PhD, is an adjunct professor and former Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Schering-Plough and Merck. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is a co-author of various patents and scientific publications.
