French Voyages 1 Method - New
The French method "Voyages 1 - New" offers a structured and clear approach to the French language, aimed at beginners to intermediate learners (levels A1–B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference). This learning tool is ideal for educational use, self-study, and professional contexts. Students are introduced to the French language and culture in an entertaining way, with a focus on oral communication.
Content and Structure
The textbook consists of an introductory unit and twelve units, each beginning with a page that activates existing knowledge and prepares students for the topic. The unit's learning objectives are clearly indicated, and the material is divided into Part A and Part B. Colored boxes highlight important language functions and grammatical points.
Students regularly work on completing charts and rules and complete assignments that allow them to put their knowledge into practice. There are references to exercises in the workbook, and each unit concludes with "Pour finir," where students collaborate on a product for their portfolio.
"My Balance" offers opportunities for self-assessment of progress, while "Balades en France" takes students on a journey of discovery through France, complete with interviews and cultural background information. The "Résumé" summarizes all the language functions and grammar learned.
After every four units, the material is reviewed in the "Savoir-faire" units (4, 8, and 12), covering learning strategies and further strengthening vocabulary. At the back of the textbook, you'll find a detailed grammar overview, a verb overview, transcriptions of listening texts, and a French-Dutch vocabulary list per unit, as well as an alphabetical glossary.
