The "Language in Business" course, developed in collaboration with the University of Vienna and the James Boswell Institute, is specifically designed for non-native speakers who want to learn business Dutch in an international context. This course is ideally suited for advanced university and college students, as well as for adult learners of Dutch as a Second Language (NT2). The course consists of a course book with seven modules covering the following topics: correspondence, taking minutes, reporting, conducting conversations, meetings, negotiating, and presenting. The book offers an intercultural communication approach and includes exercises and examples to enrich the learning experience.
In addition to the book, a CD-ROM is available, which follows the same structure and offers numerous authentic (video) examples. While the CD-ROM serves as a supplement to the course book, it can also be used independently. This makes the course flexible for various learning styles and suitable for both classroom and self-study environments.
The teacher's guide provides valuable suggestions for additional assignments and didactic advice, ensuring teachers are adequately supported in their teaching practice. As a reliable supplier, Intertaal guarantees fast delivery of these learning materials, enabling students worldwide to efficiently improve their business language skills. The course is suitable for students from level C1 and above and covers the Dutch language with a strong focus on business applications.
