Introduction From Start
In response to its popularity among teachers, the new learning method "Van Start" is being developed. This method, inspired by De Opmaat, is specifically designed for intermediate-level non-native speakers who want to improve their skills at the vocational (MBO) level.
Purpose and Target Audience
Van Start is aimed at intermediately educated non-native speakers working towards the State Exam NT2 I, aiming for A2 level. It is suitable for both educational and self-study use and combines perfectly with teaching materials such as Klare Taal! and the online Pronunciation Trainer.
Structure and Content
The method consists of eight themes that connect with the student's world. There's a strong focus on vocabulary and grammar development. Each exercise focuses on developing specific skills. All supplementary materials, such as videos, glossaries, and audio files, are accessible via a supporting website.
Level Objectives and Follow-up
The final level is set at A2, which prepares students for further development with De Sprong. This continuity ensures that language development can continue in a structured manner.
