Spotlight on Advanced is a comprehensive course fully updated to meet the new Cambridge English exam requirements from January 2015. This course is designed to optimally prepare both adults and younger learners for the revised exam. An exciting new addition in this revised edition is the Ideas Generator. Successfully completing the Speaking and Writing sections of the exam requires candidates to be able to generate ideas effectively. The Ideas Generator uses National Geographic videos to engage students with common exam questions, help them develop ideas, and develop the language skills needed to communicate effectively. After each video lesson, students will have a range of ideas, functional language, and vocabulary related to eight topics frequently encountered in the exam. One of the biggest challenges for students during the exam is the Speaking test. The videos and worksheets focusing on the Speaking test prepare students by allowing them to practice with simulations of the four sections of the test.
