The book is entirely in Spanish, without Dutch instructions, but offers translated word lists in Dutch, French, and English at the back. Significantly more exercises have been added, with a special focus on vocabulary acquisition and active use of Spanish. New are the videos, specially developed for this edition and perfectly complementing the lesson content. Exercises for each video are included in the book.
The integrated textbook and workbook consists of eight units. Each unit begins with an introduction to the topic, followed by six pages of texts and exercises. Units 4 and 8 serve as Miradores, where students review previously covered material. Each unit ends with a final assignment and a summary page called "Comunicación," which summarizes the grammatical topics and sentence structures covered. The workbook section allows students to practice independently at home or in class, concluding with an evaluation test. Solutions to the exercises can be found at the back of the book.
