The first module in this series of study books for (young) adults leads to level A1 in the CEFR for French. "Rencontres" includes an integrated workbook with a digital online practice environment, complemented by Dutch instructions. This includes new practice materials that complement the book, such as vocabulary and grammar exercises. The workbook comprises eight units and two review chapters. Each unit begins with an introductory page, using authentic documents, images, texts, and audio material to explore the topic.
