The PRISMA collection is a structured method for Spanish, consisting of six levels. Its main goal is to provide students with the necessary strategies and knowledge to function effectively in Spanish-speaking environments, with language proficiency commensurate with their level.
PRISMA A1, the textbook, comprises twelve chapters plus two review chapters, providing approximately 80 teaching hours. Each teaching unit is independent but also incorporates grammatical, lexical, and functional content from previous units (feedback process).
Each activity is provided with icons indicating the skills being trained (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and the classroom structure suggested by the authors (individual, pairs, small groups, whole class). An icon also appears if a teacher's explanation is required (provided in the teacher's guide) or if a game is involved.
The PRISMA Comienza CD contains the audio files corresponding to the textbook's teaching units, review sheets, and teacher assessments.
