Physics Now! 11-14 is one of three student books that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum for science at Key Stage 3, the Common Entrance Examination at 13+ level, and comparable junior science courses. Based on Physics Now! 11-14, the clear text, colorful illustrations, and photographs fully explain the concepts and encourage background reading. Separate sections show how scientific ideas have developed and how they are applied today. Throughout the book, numerous questions test a range of skills, including comprehension, application, analysis, and evaluation; these can serve as the basis for class work or homework. In addition, there are "Discussion" sections to encourage group discussions. In this new edition, the chapters have been revised to align with the QCA Scheme of Work and additional information has been added on fuses and circuit breakers, energy transfer and transmission of electricity, the effects of gravity, and methods of measuring speed.
