New Espresso Canzoni
Nuovo Espresso Canzoni is a book that offers a fun way to learn to speak (and sing) Italian through Italian songs. It includes numerous classroom activities, games, grammar exercises, and exercises. This book consists of 12 units, each containing a world-famous Italian song. The song selection is based on the "Canzoni Ambasciatrici d'Italia" study conducted by the Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
The book can be used as a supplement to Nuovo Espresso 1, 2, and 3 , which correspond to Italian language levels A1, A2, and B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference. It can also be used on its own to enrich the course material with musical input. Each unit provides in-depth exploration of a song and the artist(s) through various activities, allowing students to learn to speak and sing Italian.

About the Series
Nuovo Espresso is a six-part, monolingual Italian course that allows students to study up to level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference. It is a communicative course, highly structured, and accessible for both students and teachers. With this book, students can quickly and efficiently apply the Italian language in real-life situations.
The series consists of an integrated textbook and workbook and is available with or without an accompanying DVD-ROM for Parts 1, 2, and 3. Each set also includes a teacher's guide and a practice booklet with additional material. The DVD contains audio material for all the lessons and videos, including a Video Grammar that explains grammatical structures. The videos and audio files can be played using programs such as Windows Media Player Classic or VLC Media Player. An audio CD is available for classroom use with Parts 1, 2, and 3, while Parts 4 and 5 include these with the textbook and workbook. MP3s for Part 6 are available online.
