This course, consisting of 24 learning units, uses a communicative-situational approach and introduces the functional/notional categories of language according to the Council of Europe's teaching methods at the threshold level. Each unit includes the following phases: introductory dialogues, strategies for checking comprehension, structuring the grammatical framework, exercises, grammatical summaries, "Pay Attention to Language!" (age and communicative functions), cultural elements, and songs. The appendix contains a comprehensive set of review and checking tasks, periodic check-ups, and overall assessment tests. An analytical alphabetical index facilitates an enjoyable search for grammatical topics.
