Monolingual NT2 method for classroom use
This teaching method for Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) is based on the Total Physical Response (TPR) method, which is effective for learning foreign languages. The method fully complies with the requirements of the Flemish government.
Adapted for the Dutch market
"Begin Vandaag 2" from 2019 is an edited version of "Zo Gezegd 1.2 Waystage" from 2015, aimed at the Dutch market.
Essential Teaching Materials Kit
A key element of this method is the Didactic Materials Kit, which contains over 1,000 colorful playing cards, posters, game boards, and cards, packaged in a convenient box. These materials are essential for optimizing the learning process. They promote self-discovery learning, provide practice opportunities, and encourage group interaction. The teacher's guide details how to use the kit for each exercise. Suitable for groups of up to 24 students, the kit can be used by multiple teachers simultaneously. The kit is available as a set with additional teacher supplies.
Features of the series
This modern and successful NT2 method offers functional exercises that help students learn and practice the four skills—reading, listening, speaking, and writing—in realistic situations. Interaction plays a crucial role; students choose roles such as job seeker, road user, or student, and complete related exercises. These exercises are designed to facilitate communication in everyday situations. "Zo Gezegd" guides students from level 0 to level B1.
