Dr. Katherine Miller, an expert in both organizational and health communication, received bachelor's and master's degrees from Michigan State University, and a doctorate from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California. During her 30-year academic career, she served on the faculties of Michigan State University, the University of Kansas, Arizona State University and Texas A&M University. She has written three books and more than 60 journal articles and book chapters. Kathy now works as an independent writer and editor and, with her daughter, runs Hyperbole Bookstore, an independent bookstore in College Station, Texas. Dr. Joshua B. Barbour studies practitioners' strategic and macromorphic efforts to navigate and remake organizational and institutional structures.
