### Over de auteur

Mark Fox is hoogleraar fysica aan de University of Sheffield. Hij begon zijn onderzoeksloopbaan in Oxford en werkte onder andere bij AT&T Bell Laboratories. Sinds 1998 verbonden aan Sheffield, bekleedde hij daar vanaf 2006 de leerstoel.
